Neighborhood Guide: LES and East Village

Back to where it all began: New York. Over the last few months I've been in Copenhagen helping to get our new store @7115cph up and running. I'm back stateside to visit our team, stores and to show our upcoming fall/winter collection to buyers. It's been a whirlwind but I managed to squeeze in time to visit some old haunts around the neighborhood. I put together a list of not-so-hidden gems that I love to hit up while I'm here. Hope this guide comes in handy for when you visit New York or when you want to be a tourist in your own city!

FOR MEETINGS AND MATCHA: DAVELLE
102 Suffolk St, New York, NY 10002

Right around the corner from our LES store, this quaint Japanese cafe is my go-to for meetings and matcha. They also have an extensive and superb toast menu. It's a rare quiet spot that delivers on both atmosphere and food.

FOR GIFTS AND OFFICE STATIONERY: NICONECO ZAKKAYA
263 E 10th St, New York, NY 10009

Discovered this gem while strolling around the neighborhood with the fam. I've sourced a lot of beautiful stationery for all of our stores from here and always manage to find some gifts for special occasions.

FOR A SWEET BREAK: VENIERO'S PASTICCERIA AND CAFFE
342 E 11th St, New York, NY 10009

I've been frequenting Veniero's Pasticerria for well over a decade now. I love the old school feel of this Italian bakery. Take a seat and order yourself a coffee and cannoli or strawberry shortcake.
